Cristy earned her Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services and Master's degree in Medicine from Western Michigan University. As a retiree from the Michigan National Guard and former surgical PA, she brings a broad and varied range of experience to her dermatologic care. Cristy has been primarily practicing dermatology for over five years.

Cristy is known for her straightforward approach to care, ensuring each patient understands the reasoning behind their treatment plan. She is primarily based at MDI's Battle Creek location and will also be seeing patients at the Portage location beginning August 2026.

Outside of the office, home is her favorite place to be — with her husband, two boys, and goldendoodle in tow. She enjoys running, woodworking, furniture flipping, reading, good food, and travel.
